Arrival by Car

For a pleasant and safe journey, please find the directions to our Hotel Schloss Mönchstein*****s below.

Leave the motorway at the exit “Salzburg Airport” and drive on Innsbrucker Bundesstraße (B1) towards the city center.
• After approx. 2.4 km, turn left and continue on Innsbrucker Bundesstraße.
• After another 0.5 km, stay right at the intersection (Hans-Schmid-Platz) and continue on Innsbrucker Bundesstraße.
• You will now drive directly towards the Salzburg State Hospital.
• At the intersection before the hospital, please turn right and follow Aiglhofstraße.
• At the next traffic light, turn left and continue on Willibald-Hauthaler-Straße.
• Drive straight and stay in the right-turn lane. At the next traffic light, turn right and drive slightly uphill for a short distance.
• After approx. 200 meters, turn right onto a paved road that leads up to Mönchsberg.
• Follow the road to the left and continue uphill. After about 2 minutes, you will see Hotel Schloss Mönchstein*****s on the right side – a warm welcome awaits you!

If you are using a navigation system, please enter the address “Augustinergasse 4”, as “Mönchsberg Park 26” is not recognized by all systems. Turn left shortly before “Augustinergasse 4” and drive uphill. The street “Am Mönchsberg” will lead you to the hotel in about 2 minutes, which is located on the right side.

Your vehicle can be safely parked in our hotel’s own Mönchstein garage (for a fee).
