Since spring 2024, Simon Wagner, as Executive Chef, has been shaping the culinary direction of the gourmet restaurant The Glass Garden, which has been awarded a Michelin star and four Gault&Millau toques. With his clear, precise signature and high aesthetic standards, he combines first-class product quality with creative refinement.
His culinary journey led the native of Carinthia from the Wachau – where he worked for five years at the legendary Landhaus Bacher – to Switzerland, including the two-star restaurant IGNIV by Andreas Caminada in Bad Ragaz alongside Silvio Germann (Chef of the Year 2023), as well as the three-Michelin-starred Schloss Schauenstein. Here he refined his techniques, developed his distinct aromatic language, and shaped his unmistakable style.

At The Glass Garden, Simon Wagner delights with two menu variations: “1350” and “Vegetarian Mönchstein Menu”, each available as a four- or six-course menu. The product always takes center stage – seasonal, pure, and full of expressive power.
